New Video: Update on My Progress and Practice Routine
Welcome back, everyone! In this video, I share an update on my personal journey to relearn jazz guitar in my 30s, closer to 40. After taking a 10-year break from playing, I’ve recently decided to pick it up again. I created this channel to keep myself accountable, and although life has gotten in the way (like moving countries and selling almost everything I own), I've managed to practice consistently.

In this video, I talk about the songs I've been working on, including "All of Me," "Autumn Leaves," "Blue Bossa," and "Have You Met Miss Jones." I've memorized the melodies and chord changes, and I've been practicing them with backing tracks from LearnJazzStandards.com. While my playing isn’t perfect yet, I’m definitely seeing improvement, especially in my ear training and ability to keep track of the changes during a song.

I also share my practice routine, which includes playing the melody, chords, and improvising with backing tracks. Even with the chaos of moving, I'm doing my best to stay consistent. Moving next week means my playing space is limited, but I’ll continue to keep you updated on my progress.

Stay tuned for more updates, and hopefully, I can post some playing clips soon! Thanks for joining me on this journey, and let's see where it takes us.
